The MWS Youth Program is a new program that Coos Watershed Association is offering to Marshfield High School (8-12th grade) students. The program will teach students about watershed function, management, and stewardship principles. Students will receive high school credit, college credit (if 16 years of age or older), volunteer hours, networking with natural resource professionals, and work samples for senior portfolios. Learn more about the program by clicking here.

Coos Watershed Association

The Coos Watershed Association is a local non-profit organization formed in late 1993.  It’s a way for people with a wide range of interests to get together and develop the “big picture” of the conditions in the Coos watershed, and it helps individual landowners to decide how to manage and restore the watershed’s natural systems.
